Welcome to the website for the Parish of Christ Church, Patricroft. Once part of the Parish of Eccles, we continue to be a part of the Eccles Team Ministry along with St Andrew's, Eccles, St Mary the Virgin, Eccles, St James, Hope and St Paul's, Monton.
Patricroft was once at the heart of the Industrial Revolution; now it comprises mainly light industry and commerce, alongside housing. The population is around 4,000.
The church building in Patricroft was founded in 1868 (a cast iron drain pipe, now preserved, bears witness!) and 135 years later we still offer worship to the living God throughout the week, and live and work alongside the people of Patricroft as they continue in the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ. We have strong links with Christ Church C.E. Aided Primary School and Lewis St Community School, and local residential and care homes.
We welcome all visitors to our services, and should you wish to re-visit the building, there is ample opportunity at other times. Please see the Diary of events.
